After working in private practices and hospitals throughout New Zealand, Alison, Gabrielle, Niamh and Sam have over 60 years of experience between them. They are constantly honing their skills with professional courses in order to give you the best possible treatment and care.
Treating all kinds of pain and injuries, the team at Mend Physio also offer acupuncture, pelvic health services, a thorough bike set-up for cyclists and specialist care for Vertigo & TMJ (jaw) issues.

Born and bred in Southland, Alison studied in Auckland and Dunedin graduating with a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Physiotherapy.
Alison has a special interest in acupuncture, TMJ and Vestibular issues, and is a member of PAANZ.
Outside of work Alison enjoys snowboarding and exploring the outdoors, with a particular fondness for Fiordland.
Born and raised in Invercargill, Gabrielle studied her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Dunedin at Otago University. In between practicing physio, Gabrielle has also managed to fit in her professional cycling commitments racing in Europe and also cycling for the NZ paracycling team.
More recently she has jumped off the bike to help the team as a physiotherapist while they were training overseas for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
After studying at Otago for a Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Niamh returned home to Invercargill to spend a few years working in the Hospital system before joining the Mend Physio team.
After work Niamh is a talented footballer, playing since she was a young girl. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Born and raised in China, Samuel then studied abroad in Thailand for his high school years before completing a Bachelor in Physiotherapy at Otago University. He can speak fluent mandarin as well..
Samuel loves being a physio, especially treating musculoskeletal concerns, and is dedicated to improving lives through movement and rehabilitation.
Outside of work Sam is deeply passionate about cooking Asian cuisine, infusing flavours from diverse cultures. He is also keen on exploring the outdoors, relishing hiking and cycling with friends, savoring New Zealand's stunning nature.
